Digital Accessibility

Last updated: July 2026

Sea Hunt Divers wants everyone to be able to learn about diving with us and book a trip, whatever their abilities or the technology they use. We're committed to making this website usable and welcoming, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time task.

The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These internationally recognized guidelines help make web content easier to perceive, operate, and understand for people with a wide range of abilities.

What we've built in

  • A "skip to content" link so keyboard and screen-reader users can jump past the navigation.
  • Semantic HTML with clear headings and landmarks so assistive technology can navigate the page structure.
  • Keyboard-operable navigation, menus, and forms, with visible focus outlines so you can see where you are.
  • Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Color choices intended to keep text readable against its background.
  • Responsive layouts that work on phones, tablets, and desktops and support zooming in without breaking.
  • Respect for your system's "reduce motion" setting — we tone animations down when you ask your device to.

Known limitations

Some parts of the site rely on third-party services — such as embedded maps, the payment checkout, spam protection, and embedded video — that we don't fully control and that may not yet meet every AA criterion. If one of these gets in your way, please contact us and we'll help you complete what you were trying to do another way.

Tell us how we're doing

If you run into a barrier on this site, or you need information or a booking handled in a different format, we want to hear from you — and we'll help directly. Contact us and, where it helps, tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you were using:

We aim to respond promptly and to provide the information or service you need in an accessible way.

Ongoing work

We keep testing and improving as we update the site. This statement will be revised as we make changes; the date above shows when it was last updated.
