The Port of Roatán (also called the Town Center) sits at Coxen Hole, the island’s main cruise pier. It’s where most major cruise lines dock — including Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Princess, Holland America, Celebrity, Disney, and MSC. If your ship is calling here, you’re well placed for an easy independent day in West End.
Getting to West End
From the Port of Roatán it’s roughly a 20–30 minute taxi west to our beachfront in the Lower West End. Official taxis wait right outside the terminal; agree the fare before you set off, and ask for the Lower West End / Sea Hunt Divers drop — we’re at the quiet end of the village, right on the sand.
What to do on your stop
- Scuba diving for certified divers — small-group reef and wall dives
- Try scuba for first-timers — no experience needed
- A family beach day with snorkeling, sand, and food at the Deco Stop Bar & Grill
Booking around your ship
Plan around your all-aboard time, not docking. Message us your ship’s name and in/out times and we’ll build a plan with a comfortable buffer for the taxi back to Coxen Hole. Booking ahead also means we can have gear and a spot ready the moment you arrive.
Docking at Carnival’s port instead? See diving from Isla Tropicale (formerly Mahogany Bay), or browse all cruise-ship options.
