John Ratko

John has been diving since April 2017. He worked for eight years as a high school physics and special education teacher in the U.S. and has been a dive instructor on Roatan since 2021. John is a PADI Master Instructor and IDC Staff Instructor (Pro 515396), with Sidemount, Self-Reliant, EFR, Deep, Enriched Air, and other specialty instructor credentials. His teaching experience shines through when explaining the basics of dive physics to a beginner diver or nerding out on the boat with the most experienced technical divers.
