At Sea Hunt Divers in Roatan, we’re proud to be the only dive center in the world authorized to teach the PADI Turtle Educated Diver Specialty. This one-of-a-kind course was developed and is personally taught by PADI Master Instructor Ted Anger — the program’s original creator and the only instructor certified to teach it globally.

The Turtle Educated Diver course combines marine biology, conservation, and practical field experience to help divers understand, identify, and protect sea turtles in their natural environment. You’ll learn about the seven sea turtle species, their life cycles, threats to their survival, and what you can do to support conservation efforts both in and out of the water.

Through interactive discussions and optional in-water observation dives, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for these remarkable animals and learn responsible diving practices that protect them and their habitats.
