The PADI Rescue Diver course builds your ability to prevent problems and manage emergencies—making you a more confident, capable buddy. You’ll learn to recognize stress, respond effectively, assist tired or panicked divers, and handle search, surface, and exit scenarios through realistic practice in confined and open water.
Guided by a PADI Instructor, you’ll combine brief knowledge development with hands-on skill sessions and scenario-based training around Roatan—so you’re ready to respond calmly when it matters most.
Quick Facts:
- Minimum Age: 12
- Training Format: Knowledge development + confined water skills + open water scenarios
- Typical Duration: 2–3 days
- Prerequisites: PADI Advanced Open Water or PADI Adventure Diver with Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive
- First Aid/CPR: EFR Primary & Secondary Care within 24 months (or equivalent). If you need it, we can add EFR before Rescue.
- Depth: Per your existing certification limits (no special depth requirement for Rescue scenarios)
