The Deep Diving Specialty course is your ticket to exploring the depths of the ocean — safely and confidently. Whether you’re chasing shipwrecks, discovering underwater canyons, or just want to see what lies beyond 18 meters, this course gives you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to dive as deep as 40 meters (130 feet).
Through 5 academic sessions and 3 open water dives, you’ll learn how to plan and execute deep dives with precision. You’ll master advanced techniques like using dive computers, calculating gas consumption, and managing your bottom time to get the most out of every descent.
This specialty doesn’t just open up incredible dive sites — it also lays the foundation for more advanced dive training in the future. After completing the course (recommended 10–15 hours), you’ll earn your SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification, unlocking a new world of underwater possibilities.
